Anna M. Wood is a litigator whose practice includes plaintiff personal injury, civil litigation matters, family law and estate disputes. She has appeared as counsel in numerous trials and other proceedings in the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Anna takes a compassionate approach assisting clients who have been injured, or who are or who navigating family disputes. She takes a balanced and constructive approach assisting clients in a variety of litigation matters, including commercial and contractual disputes, property and real estate claims, estate disputes and construction and builders’ liens.
While studying to become a paralegal at Capilano University, Anna began her legal career in 2008. She then worked as a paralegal in family law and personal injury law while completing her undergraduate studies.
Anna graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors of Arts, majoring in history and political science. She then attended law school in England at City, University of London. While completing the legal practice course in the U.K., Anna worked as a paralegal in London in civil litigation, family and employment law. She worked on cases in the High Court of Justice, including Commercial Court and the Family and Chancery Divisions.
After being called to the bar in 2020, Anna worked at a firm in the Sea-to-Sky region where her practice included plaintiff and defence personal injury law, family law and general civil litigation.
Born and raised on the North Shore and Sea-to-Sky area, Anna is pleased to be working in the place where she grew up. She is active in her community as the International Service Committee Chair with the Rotary Club of Squamish, and a committee member with the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
